Bury Street
This project was commissioned by The Crown Estate one of the UK’s largest property managers and is part of their St James’ portfolio of assets valued at over £1 billion.
Located behind Piccadilly in the heart of St James, the scheme involves converting three upper floors in a turn of the 19th Century office building into 6 modern penthouse apartments. The building is on Historic England's National Heritage list.
A meticulous approach has been taken to the planning of each apartment to ensure that all original features were retained and integrated properly into each room. The front facades, which include intricate stone carvings, will be preserved and fully restored, whilst minor alterations made to the rear facades to accommodate new balconies for each apartment.
The planning approval process was made streamlined by working closely with heritage officers from the outset.
